International Speech Competition at Sunrise

Six entrants pitched their talents at Sunrise's International Speech Competition.

Johanna King was the stand-out winner, with Sean Joyce and Paul Deans in second and third places.

Johanna drew the audience in with a question, "What was the best gift you were ever given?" Confidently and with well chosen words she described the best she had received and noted the joy it gave compared with the many hours she recently discovered she is spending online. A reminder to all that the best experiences in life are not virtual experiences. A subject well fitting the international speech criteria.
