It was hats off to Jordan this week for his first MC Toastmaster role.

'Hats' was the theme and anybody that failed to arrive in style was provided with emergency head-cover.

In 'Fave Green Lumberjack', Jordan ran the meeting without need of axe or mulcher.

Jill in 'Christmas themed Straw' hit us with lies and easter eggs. Gerard in 'Dutch Liquorice' manipulated Garfunkel's waves. Victor in 'Jade Green' exhorted refrain from whimpishness when evaluating.

On Monday at Shoreline our representatives presented well, Johanna taking second place in the International and Victor third in Evaluations. Congratulations!

During Gerard's presentation a phone alarm activated. A lesson to Mr Guilty and reminder for others that even when phones are placed on 'silent', pre-programmed alerts will indeed interrupt magic moments.
